BEGINNING
The Tombstone Teeth were formed by Cobalt while he studied temporal art at the Mulder Time Institute. Hearing a performance by a very successful cover band called Homer and the Iliad, Cobalt decided that he could do better.  He first enlisted the help of his college roommate Doc Tombstone to play Saxophone.  Cobalt then went next door to visit with a social group of outcasts known as the House of Freaks, where he recruited virtuoso keyboard player Lord Claudius von Vile Silencer and drummer Djangus Khan.  The final members to join the Teeth were Rose Martinez on Flute, Doctor Scarlett on bass and Sal Cassidy on Guitar. The team then hired Milonius Rex to manage, promote the band and book gigs.

FIRST GIG  (LIVE SHOWS)
The first gig played by the Teeth was at St Eve’s, a secluded school for girls. The gig was a success, and over the next 3 years, the Tombstone Teeth became a cult favorite in the city, playing a variety of clubs.

HOUSE BAND
In early 1990, The Tombstone Teeth became the house band at THE OTHER END, a small club on the MTI campus, playing there every two weeks.

RIVALRY
The Teeth were often in “battle of the band” competitions and had a strong ongoing rivalry with the other area bands, *including the Acid Orchestral Extravaganza, Modus Operandi and Most particularly the Skurvy Rats.

TIME TRAVEL AND OTHER ADVENTURES
Shortly after the Teeth were formed Cobalt became the first person to travel backwards through time in a Time Emulsion experiment run by Doc Tombstone.

SCHISM
In September 1990,  Sal Cassidy shocked the band by leaving the Teeth and joining the Modus Operandi.  Sal claimed he was tired of Cobalt’s conceptual antics, such as the song Skueeky Cake, where Cobalt ran through the audience squeeking a rubber cake in the face of startled onlookers. Many at the time suspected his departure was due to his obsession with the Modus Operandi singer, Lori-Ly Stigmata. Also at this time, the base player Doctor Scarlett dropped out of the band, citing creative differences.

A NEW MEMBER
A frantic search was conducted, and Sal was replaced with Bread Morton, a guitarist schooled more in hard rock. The sound of the band became much more aggressive at this point, and the resulting Bells of Orchids and Snow were the result.

ROCK OPERAS
The first operas were put together – the end result being “The Undersea Kingdom”.

THE END
The swansong of the Teeth, Sunflowers was recorded with the reduced line up of Cobalt, Bread Morton, Lord Claude and Djangus Khan.Shortly after the last Sunflower session, the Teeth decided to call it quits. Ironically, Sal, Cobalt and Doc Tombstone would later join the form House of Anachronism.
